American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization for people 50 and over. They provide information and resources; advocate on legislative, consumer, and legal issues; assist members in serving their communities; and offer a wide range of unique benefits, special products, and services. National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA)
NRMLA is the nation's only organization devoted exclusively to the promotion of reverse mortgages, advocacy on reverse mortgage lending issues with Congress and the Federal Government, education and training for reverse mortgage lenders, and the development and maintenance of ethical standards for reverse mortgage lending. US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
HUD is a government agency whose mission is to increase homeownership, support community development and increase access to affordable housing free from discrimination. National Council on Aging (NCOA)
The NCOA is a nonprofit organization with a national network of more than 14,000 organizations and leaders. Programs are designed to help older people remain healthy and independent, find jobs, increase access to benefit programs, and discover meaningful ways to continue contributing to society.
Federal Trade Commission (FTC) The FTC is the nation's consumer protection agency. The FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection works for the consumer to prevent fraud, deception, and unfair business practices in the marketplace.
